Learn to craft impressive Christmas cookies like those on Food Network's Holiday Baking Challenge and leave with skills to wow your loved ones! The class, lasting 2.5 to 3 hours, will teach you how to bake perfect cut-out cookies and create various consistencies of royal icing. You'll learn techniques to outline, flood, and detail a set of six cookies. All materials are provided, along with guidance to create festive cookies for any holiday platter. This class will focus on the following decorating techniques: •sectioning •wet-on-wet •tipless piping-work •3D dimensional work Participants will leave class with a basic understanding of cookie decorating, and with the confidence of how to apply these skills to cookies at home! This is an ideal follow-up to the "Instant Piano" class and is open to anyone who has a basic understanding of chords on any instrument. Please join us for this wonderful Winter Wonderland Ornament Workshop designing with glass. Choose to make your favorite ornament design in your choice of a snowman or Christmas tree! All materials will be provided. No experience is needed. Join us to see how easy it is to cut simple shapes using glass. All projects will go home with the instructor to be kiln fired and returned back to Novi Community Ed within 10-12 days. Novi Community Ed will notify you when your project is ready for pickup. Class runs from 6-8 pm with the instructor utilizing an additional hour for cleanup. Students’ class time ends at 8.
