It does not promote active aggressiveness, but teaches children to respect themselves, others and the skills they learn. This introductory program to traditional Tang Soo Do has been commended by many communities, teachers and parents for the positive impact it has on children. This beginner-friendly camp introduces young golfers to the fundamentals of the game using a fun, games-based approach that can be played on almost any surface. Specialized equipment helps young players experience early success while learning key skills such as putting, chipping, and basic swing mechanics. Each week we focus on four core golf skills while also emphasizing a weekly life skill including respect, teamwork, inclusion, and leadership, with sportsmanship highlighted on the final day. The camp concludes with a fun tournament-style day where participants bring all their new skills together.
