Learn to craft impressive Christmas cookies like those on Food Network's Holiday Baking Challenge and leave with skills to wow your loved ones! The class, lasting 2.5 to 3 hours, will teach you how to bake perfect cut-out cookies and create various consistencies of royal icing. You'll learn techniques to outline, flood, and detail a set of six cookies. All materials are provided, along with guidance to create festive cookies for any holiday platter. This class will focus on the following decorating techniques: •sectioning •wet-on-wet •tipless piping-work •3D dimensional work Participants will leave class with a basic understanding of cookie decorating, and with the confidence of how to apply these skills to cookies at home! A very practical presentation of music theory that includes predicting chord progressions, learning from recordings, and transposing. All of this information is expressed in everyday language! This is an ideal follow-up to the "Instant Piano" class and is open to anyone who has a basic understanding of chords on any instrument. Expand your musical horizons and free yourself from sheet music dependence, and be the life of the party! Prior experience with chords recommended. Fee includes the online book, online follow-up lessons, a recording of the class and an optional monthly question and answer session. Class is held online using Zoom.
